It has been raining here alot lately. It did not wan to rexpond to the foot pedal, then did run fine. I stopped for a few minutes then backed out of the spot. swithched to fwd and no go.....went back to reverse - still no go
got towed home and charged overnight - still no go.
I do here the seleniods click in as I depress the pedal. Is there a fuse or a circuit breaker for the motor?
thanks for your help

First thing is how many solenoid clicks? Jack up the back end and jump #1 solenoid main terminals and then try pedal again.

I did not know which was #1 so I jumped the end one that has the white wire going to the motor....................
the cart moved fwd and reverse..........you are a genius

how do i tell if this selenoid need to be cleaned or replaced? Is there a bench test? What is the working voltage for the selinoid to click in?

I have encountered this in my escapades also, and all 5 solenoids clicked but it turned out they were all failing or bad. I replaced all 5 and it ran like a top. I also clean the buss bar and resistor connections.

They're not that expensive, so I would definitely replace all 5 for peace of mind and get back in the race for another decade. LOL 8-)

#1 solenoid is the one on drivers side, lift rear wheel off the ground and jump the two large lugs on #1 solenoid. That energizes the buss bar. when 2nd solenoid closes that should be slowest speed. 3rd solenoid is next fastest speed and then 4th. 5th is direct battery pack to motor. Still sounds to me #1 not connecting.
